It takes forever to get a piece of wool off the shelf, light it, take the photo, upload the photo, crop the photo to the right size, label the photo with the inventory number, optimize the photo for the website, save the photo, upload the photo to the website, post the photo to the website. And repeat for the next wool.
To show you the wools and to speed up the process, I decided to make a video about the wools. It is a bit less tedious.
I still have the same problem – the inventory is constantly changing. I keep track of the inventory in a Google Sheet. You can see the spread sheet below. Once you watch a video and see the woo(s) you want, check the inventory sheet below to see if it is still in stock before you order it.
Wool cannot be routinely re-ordered. What I have in stock cannot be replaced once it is gone. The wholesalers only make so much of each pattern. When it is gone, it can be remade, but that does not happen often.
