Today in class Pat Mensing shared with us her progress on Annie’s Flower Power footstool. She is hooking it for a member of her family. They both came to my studio a few weeks ago and picked out the colors. Pat used the instructions that come with the pattern for the color placement.

Take a close look at the Queen Anne’s Lace. Because the background is light, Pat used all the medium soft tones from the rug. Each flower has more than one color!

Instant color plan for your hooked rug

This pattern is available as a rug and as a footstool, your choice. The instructions apply to both. Quantities are listed for each pattern and a description of the type of wool that works best. Follow along and supply your own color choices for an instant color plan.

Have you hooked this pattern or one of my other rug hooking patterns?

I would love to see a photo. Please let me know if it is OK to share it on this website, if not I will keep it private. Be sure to include your full name and home town. If you have any questions or comments, contact me using the Contact Me link in the menu above.

I would love to get feedback on how much wool it took YOU to hook one of my patterns. I plan to have wool requirements for all patterns. To help me set priorities, please ask about wool requirements for any pattern you cannot find listed.
