Product Description

This rug is inspired by my granddaughter’s artwork. The minute I saw this, I knew it had to be a rug.

I taught her how to transfer her pattern to the backing.

This is the tag she made with her Mom’s help. Alaina is about 6 years older in the photo on the tag. That is how long it took her to complete the project. She asked me if that was a record. I assured her that the time she took to hook her pillow was closer to normal than the record. You can use this method to create a label.

After overhearing a conversation between me and her mom, Alaina presented me with this Artist Release. I scanned the piece of paper and printed it on fabric and sewed it to the back of the rug. Although I did it for sentimental reasons, it would be a good idea to do this with any artist release. You will always have it with the rug.

I have finished Ally’s Cat and will be taking it out west the 17th. Still don’t know if I will give it away or not. How bad is that???
I went to the Shakertown and Heaven’s to Betsy’s Betsy show us how to tear the strips and hook them, I did that around the outside of the rug and really thought it framed the cat nicely.
Thanks again for having and helping us. We all still talk about what a good time we had.
Have a good week, Kathy
