New Wool Photos

It has taken several weeks, a ladder, several arrangements of lights and lamps and finally, a new camera. Now I have photos of wool that look more like the actual wool I am selling. I will be adding them frantically. My goal is to have my texture inventory up and running by the first of the year. . . in just a few days.

Update as of 1/1/10: Missed the goal. Turns out I have over a hundred different off-the-bolt wools available. Still adding . . .

I then plan to add photos of what each wool looks like hooked and photos of rugs that have used the wools. If you subscribe to this website (see the sidebar) you will get one email each day that shows you what details I added.  No updates? No email.

It’s just a great way to be sure you see everything new. To my current subscribers: Thank you for being patient. I know some of my test posts have made it through to you. I haven’t figured out how to keep these test posts private.

If you have an example of how you used one of the wools in my store and you would allow me to use it, please send me the photo with:

  1. Your name
  2. Your home town
  3. The pattern name
  4. Designer’s name
  5. My code for the wools you used
  6. Anything you would like to say about the rug

Send the photo as an attachment.  Use the email address listed at the bottom of the Contact Me page.  Just replace {at} with @ and {dot} with .  This helps to reduce the amount of spam I get.
