Make your own rug hooked footstool
I have several rug hooking footstool patterns available. I am posting complete instructions (videos are still being edited) on how to build your own using simple 2x4s, plywood and foam. There is a complete cutting diagram for the wood and the foam. I also have instructions on how to finish your hooking so you can complete your rug hooked footstool.

One simple large sunflower and two crows facing each other. Hook it as simply as you like or add your own patterns into the center of the sunflower or on the crows. Either way this bit of summer can be at your feet all year long.

Crows and Sunflowers Footstool
This pattern is simple enough to be hooked in very large cuts or use smaller cuts and introduce a lot of variety. Add more dropped petals if desired.Price: $69.00
Rosenweeds Footstool Rug Hooking Pattern
This footstool was named when I was asked what the "stuff" in the border was. They are imaginary foliage, maybe weeds, rose and weeds. Hook the "leaves" in green or use colors! The circles could be lollipop flowers or proddy around the border for a 3D flower. The outer border could be hooked solid or hit and miss to better disguise the seams when you put it together.Price: $69.00
Nature's View Square Footstool
The trunks for each of the trees are formed when the footstool is sewn together, completely disguising the seam. Price: $69.00
Rose Diamond Square Footstool
Pattern only. Finished size of footstool is 16" x 16" x 15" high which includes feet that are 6" high.A primitive rose surrounded by Queen Ann's lace. A simple line, which could be embellished with several colors or a row of beading stitch, separates the top of the stool from the sides. Hook the sides with hit and miss to use up those worms in your scrap bag.

Rose Scroll Square Footstool
Pattern only. Finished size of footstool is 16" x 16" x 15" high which includes feet that are 6" highA simple primitive rose flanked by Queen Ann's lace and surrounded by a scroll adorn the top of this footstool. Hook the sides with hit and miss to use up those worms in your scrap bag.
