Designed by my granddaughter, Alaina Siler.  She drew this pattern a few years ago.  She wanted to go with me to my hooking group, so I told her that she needed to hook.  She drew this cat as her pattern.  She is hooking this cat in a smaller pillow size  but only has the head partially hooked.  Because she has an extremely  small bedroom and she already has one of my rugs, I will have custody of Ally's Cat until her high school graduation in 2012!

A special thank-you to everyone who voted for this rug at the 2004 McGown National.  I gave the red second place ribbon to Alaina.  She proudly has it hanging on her bulletin board in her room.
